Shango!ZeropoinT.

          Shango!ZeropoinT., born Shango Sheffield Jr. is a 15 year old Nerdcore style Hip-Hop artist residing in Los Angeles, California. Originally born in Elizabeth City, New Jersey he constantly moved around from state to state picking up unique traits along the way. His first rhyme was written in the 4th grade, actually he was in the shower when he thought of it, this would be the start of a Nerdcore legacy. During those times he would get inspiration from artist like lil Bow wow or lil wayne. He would later move to Okinawa, Japan, the origin to his infatuation with the Japanese culture. As time progressed he grew more attached to his art and became more unique and original. Developing his own style and putting his own twist to the Hip-Hop genre. 

He released his first mixtape titled “Sofr3sh Lazzers” or “Sil E. Music” around December of 2009, although it didn’t get noticed as much as he wanted it to, it still was a start. He would later create his own genre titled “Otaku-Hop” which was meant to represent everything he spoke about in his lyrics and through his music. His next mixtape called “REBELMUSIC.” Released September 20th of 2010, would get him the recognition he wanted although it wasn’t a cult sensation or was loved by the masses it did mark the beginning of a pretty nice fan base. The music that he makes now has a sort of calm yet intriguing feel to it. It retains a mellow vibe to it, but its still remains thought provoking. His music is inspired by a large amount of artist such as Lupe Fiasco, Asher Roth, MF DOOM, Blu, Nyle and a great deal more. 

He is currently working on two new projects titled “NOMOREzEROES” and “PHOOD.”, both set to be released in 2011, which he hopes will push his reputation as a lyrical nerdcore evil genius emcee even higher.
